The Kitchen provides food for 11 000 people per year including 300 loaves of bread a day to those in need. The $70,000 refit was only possible through the tireless effort of staff and volunteers. Special mention must be given to retired Chairperson Nelly Van Dyke, CEO Richard Carter and current Chairperson Geoff Benier for their vision and persistence in seeing the project through. Well done everyone and I look forward to coming back to help pack bread!
