The Ku Klux Klan claimed to be defending Protestant Christian values (among their early targets were Catholic immigrants). Of course any fool can see that they did not represent mainstream Protestants. They were a tiny extremist minority whose power lay in anonymous terrorism and inadequate efforts to crush them. ISIS, Al Qaeda, et al claim to be defending Islamic values. Same deal. The bro gamer phenomenon is the same thing again with less overt violence. There are maybe a couple of thousand of them. They speak for no one but themselves; certainly not mainstream gamers. There are HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of gamers worldwide. Never forget who your real audience is. If the mayor wastes time arguing with the village idiot, hes not serving his constituents. Dont do it.
