The LORD Jesus Christ’s shed Blood Have you appropriated the shed blood of the LORD Jesus Christ, by faith? The LORD Jesus Christ’s shed blood entitles the believer to remission (forgiveness) of sins… Matthew 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Romans3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; The LORD Jesus Christ’s shed blood is to be remembered through the LORD’S Supper… Mark 14:24 And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many. Luke 22:20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you. John 6:53-56 (53) Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. (54) Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. (55) For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. (56) He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. 1Corinthians 11:25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. The LORD Jesus Christ’s shed blood received, by faith, enables the sinner who is converted to have peace with God… Colossians 1:20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. The LORD Jesus Christ’s shed blood received, by faith, enables the believer to have a pure conscious from guilt and dead works before God… Hebrews 9:12-14 (12) Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. (13) For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: (14) How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? The LORD Jesus Christ’s shed blood received, by faith, enables the believer to have boldness to enter into the holiness of the heaven sanctuary… Hebrews 10:19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, The LORD Jesus Christ’s shed blood received, by faith, enables the believer to be set apart unto God’s holiness… Hebrews 13:11-12 (11) For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp. (12) Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. The LORD Jesus Christ’s shed blood enables an everlasting covenant to be received by faith… Hebrew 13:20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, The LORD Jesus Christ’s shed blood received, by faith, enables the believer to be one of God’s Elect… 1Peter 1:2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied. The LORD Jesus Christ’s shed blood received, by faith, enables the believer to be cleansed from the guilt of all sin… 1John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood… The LORD Jesus Christ’s shed blood received, by faith, enables the believer of the great tribulation period to wash their robes white in the imputed righteousness of God… Revelation 7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. The LORD Jesus Christ’s shed blood received, by faith, enables the believer to overcome the devil… Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
