The Lady Chargers were on the road Friday, as they played in the Chipola Classic in Chipola, Florida against Pensacola State College for a hard-fought win, 78-73. They returned to action on Saturday night in Chipola to take on National NJCAA power Gulf Coast Community College. After a big win on Friday night versus Pensacola State, the road only got tougher on Saturday. The young Lady Chargers fought all night. The game was a one possession game until the final minute. The Lady Chargers dropped a close one 84-76. Shakierya McClendon led the way with 19, followed by Cassidy Allen with 14, Amber Curtis with 11, and Siera Bubb with 9. It was a great effort, and there are only good things to come for our Lady Chargers as the season progresses .
