The Lady Warriors Soccer team wrapped up their season last night in a regional quarterfinal game against Hagerty. The team entered regionals after placing second in the district tournament. Maddie Skretteberg led the Lady Warriors through the tournament scoring a rcord 5 goals in the semi-final game versus Olympia. Though losing 3-1 to the heavily favored Hagerty team, the girls played a great game. Led by seniors Brynn Axtell, Delaney DArgenio, Ashley Norton, and Raquel Reyes, the Lady Warriors went into halftime down a goal at 2-1. Freshman Emma Honis, Mary Hamm, and Natalie Irwin showed had career nights, matching up against some of the best senior players in the state but it was not enough to overcome Hagerty as they scored once more late in the game. The Lady Warriors ended their season 17 wins 4 losses and a tie, breaking the school record for season wins. Congratulations to the team for a record season and back-to-back appearances in regional competition.
