The Lake Padden Trail Half marathon race is on October 19, 2013. The half marathon needs to recruit 50+ volunteers for this year’s race. With proceeds benefiting ReBound of Whatcom County, the race relies on its volunteers to keep the race running. There are a variety of ways volunteers can help. All proceeds will benefit Rebound of Whatcom County. reboundwc.org/ With your help last year, the event gave over $11,000.00 to Rebound of Whatcom County. The Lake Padden Trail Half needs volunteers before, during, and after the race. These volunteer areas include assistance with photography, assistance with equipment, race timing, help at each race leg, and take down. All volunteers will receive an official 2013 Lake Padden Trail Half T-shirt, a raffle entry for some great prizes, and lunch for their participation.
