The Legacy Crowns are now retired from the California crowning moment with the official MUO state crowns returning. The Legacy crowns will remain a symbol and a teaching tool to encourage a younger generations to treat each other with kindness and respect. With a heart of celebration, we are announcing the on-stage crowning moment retirement and renaming of the Miss California USA and Miss California Teen USA Crowns by Peter Young of INTA Gems & Diamonds. The 2015 CA USA state titleholders and all future USA system titleholders will be crowned with the Miss Universe Organization (MUO) state issued crowns that all state titleholders wear. The re-naming is also meant to distinguish them from the MUO state issued crowns worn by all state titleholders in the USA system. The two unique California crowns will have “Legacy” added to their original names and the year 2010-2015 to help identify them in future photoshoots and planned speaking events.
