The Legal Society of Amarillo College is hosting an Immigration Forum at the Downtown Campus on Tuesday, November 18th from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at the Bud Joyner Auditorium (Room 111). Topics will include the latest immigration headlining news, opinions, immigration border security and the controversial Executive Action on Immigration. Guest Speakers will include Dr. James V. Calvi, Ph.D. Professor of Political Science at West Texas A&M University and Texas Tech School of Law Professor David N. Strange Dr. Calvi is the co-author of three textbooks and teaching fields include constitutional and administrative law. David N. Strange serves as an adjunct professor at the Texas Tech University School of Law. David is also board certified in Texas Immigration Law. In addition, David N. Strange and Former US Attorney General Alberto Gonzales authored a book titled A Conservative and Compassionate Approach to Immigration Reform. The goal of the forum is to have a detailed conversation about the many topics surrounding the nations current Immigration Issues.
