He seldom came on the set except to bring visitors usually celebrities, William Lear who built the Lear Jet, Victor Mature, Groucho Marks, Joseph Cotton, etc. My brother Glen was my stunt man and he was very good, the main stunt coordinator was Paul Stader, Charlie Patcurney was Jimmy’s stunt man and we had many more on and off. I don’t remember the number of days the Pilot took, however it was the most expensive Pilot up until that time. Irwin directed the pilot as he always does. I have a very good relationship with both Jimmy Darren and Lee Meriwether. The rest of the cast have passed on. I tried to get friends on the show but by the time we got the scripts for the new show they had already been cast so it didn’t work out for me to try and help. Robert Colbert 29 April, 2007.
