The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office is suspending the recent curfew effective immediately. This curfew has been in place since the devastating storms last week in Southwest Limestone County. We sincerely appreciate the cooperation we have received from residents and visitors alike during this time. Even though the curfew will no longer be in place, increased patrols and police presence will continue in the areas hardest hit by the storms. We continue to urge all persons who do not reside in these areas, to please refrain from entering these areas unless you are volunteering to assist the many families that were affected by this catastrophe. We also wish to thank the numerous people that have come to our aid during this time, and specifically thank the Alabama National Guard and the Alabama State Troopers that will continue to join us in guarding and patrolling these areas along with our patrol officers.
