The Lonely Road My heart ticks making the sweetest of melodies, while it skips beats in between. As I cross the lonely forgotten paths, and empty roads. I see your eyes and your beautiful face. That lifts my soul and spirit so... Its you that strives me, and pushes me to untold territory. This journey is a lonely one, full of dreams and lurking scum. My day is at peace, when the sunsets down in east. As I peer up at the golden sky. It shines and glimmers with reddish tones. Like burning embers in a wood burning stove. Reminds me of my love ones eyes. When ever Im with him. Theres times I feel weak and sad, I remember them special moments. In the warm month of July, we spent together. Holding hands sitting beside a deserted hedged row. Full of wilderness all around, grasshoppers hummingbirds bees and the swaying of trees as the wind blows softly.
