The Lord says: The spirit of offense is running rampant throughout the church. It is that sharp word spoken to you that hurts you. Its that look that stares right through you at something you said or did that was totally misunderstood. You must stop the effect of offense immediately by choosing to forgive, whether you feel like it or not. Put it under the blood. It is not the other person who is coming against you, its Satan. Offense has, in the past, split churches. It has caused people to leave church completely and walk away from Me. Its one of those things you feel justified in because the world says if someone hurts you its alright to seek revenge or gossip about them. That offense grows and awful things happen. Do not allow offense into your life. Do not allow it to become deep rooted in your heart as that causes many spiritual problems. Every time that situation that hurt you rises up in your mind choose to forgive and refuse to entertain that thought one more second. Forgiveness is a kingdom principal. Forgiveness cancels offense.
