The Lord’s love is unconditional, but His promises of protection - TopicsExpress

The Lord’s love is unconditional, but His promises of protection from sickness and disease are not: - IF we dwell in the secret place of the Most High, IF we abide under the shadow of the Almighty, IF we SAY of the Lord He is our refuge, our fortress, our God in whom we trust and IF He is our dwelling place. However, if the refuge or fortress in which we trust is the medical profession or pharmaceuticals then our trust is not in the divine protection promised in Psalm 91. If Adonay is our dwelling place we will hear His directions for healing. He may send us to a doctor, but our fortress must be the Most High. Otherwise, we run the risk of surrendering our bodies and well-being to the gods of Asclepius (medicine) or Pharmakeia (sorcery). Jesus, the first born from the dead, demonstrated how to live from Heaven: He dwelt in the secret place, doing only what the Father showed Him or told Him to do. Let’s press on to become more like Him, growing in surrender and one-ness with Christ.
