The Lucknow Mahotsav, with a theme of Shaan-E-Awadh-Jashn-E-Lucknow this year, is slated to begin on November 25, and will see performances by various celebrities this year. The opening ceremony of this years Lucknow Mahotsava (on November 25) is all set to witness Grammy award winner Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt letting his string of compositions to the music lovers of Lucknow. This would be followed by programmes by Ankit Tiwari and Sukhwinder Singh (Punjabi Nights) on November 26 and 27 respectively. The Ghazal Night scheduled for Friday (November 28) would see performances by Bhupendra & Mitali Singh and also by Rekha Bharadwaj. Sabri brothers are all set to render their musical performance on November 29 on Sufi Nights, and it would be followed by Comedy Nights of Krishna and Sudesh on the next day (November 30). The first day of December has been reserved for Bollywood Nights in which Shreya Ghosal is expected to perform. Tuesday, December 2 would see rock band Euphoria performing in the Mahotsava in Rock Night. On the following day, Kavi Sammelan would be held (under the aegis of Uttar Pradesh Hindi Sansthan). Bhojpuri singer Manoj Tiwari would be unleashing his vocal talent on December 4 during the Bhojpuri Night, while on the subsequent day, a Mushaira would be held. Qawali Nights by Nizami brothers and performance by children would constitute the itinerary for December 6. The closing ceremony is likely to witness a performance by flute maestro Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia.
