The Lynn District Council of St. Vincent de Paul is sponsoring a “Friends of the Poor Walk” THIS Saturday, September 20, in celebration of the Feast Day of St. Vincent de Paul. The walk will begin in St. John’s parking lot in Swampscott at 9:00am, RAIN OR SHINE. All are welcome to walk, sponsor or make pledges for those who walk. All proceeds will go to the participating St. Vincent de Paul conferences to assist in helping the needy of the parishes. Sacred Heart Conference would like to challenge St. Mary’s Conference to see who can raise the most money. The winner will be those that we serve!
