The MAIN reason I oppose common core standards, because you cant expect babies to run before they learn to crawl or walk. Its called stages, there are stair steps and fundamentals to learning. A childs brain development can not and is not developed yet, exactly why 12 year old children and younger MUST learn concrete thinking before they can think abstractly or conceptually!! How can anybody think subjective if they have not yet learned how to think objective???
