We at MTB HIMALAYA are proud to present Shishir Maan Karki, representing the Indian Army’s Army Adventure Wing (AAW) team in “Team of Two” category at MTB Himalaya 2013. Defending the title he won last year (Team of Two), Shishir feels no pressure when we tell him about the list of competition he will face this year. Shishir has been a regular participant at MTB HIMALAYA since the year 2006 and has never once thought about skipping this annual challenge. A regular at the podium over the years, be it individual or team events,he is one of the toughest competitor in MTB HIMALAYA 2013. A member of the Indian Army’s Adventure Wing, he is also a member of their river rafting team. His experience of the terrain and the event will help the other riders of team Indian Army some of whom are first timers. With 15 riders this year, and upgraded range of arsenal (read world class mountain bikes), the Indian Army is coming with the sole aim of taking top spots in all categories it enters. We are confident Shishir will lead his team from the front and set a daunting challenge for all of his competitors. We wish the best of luck to Shishir and team Indian Army.
