The Mad Daddy Scientist Cancer Hypothesis by Eddie Thomas May 27, 2014 I have stumbled upon some information that I would like the public to consider and analyze with me. My theory involves Ceramides and Cancer. My theory: All cancers that involve over expression of ASAH1 Gene or ASAH2 Gene could cause symptoms of eczema, inflammation or asthma. ASAH1 encodes Acid Ceramidase, which Ceramidase is the Acids responsible for breaking down Ceramides. If ASAH1 is over expressed then there is a deficiency of Cermides in the body. Ceramides are a family of waxy lipid molecules. A ceramide is composed of sphingosine and a fatty acid. Ceramides are found in high concentrations within the cell membrane of cells. They are one of the component lipids that make up sphingomyelin, one of the major lipids in the lipid bilayer. Contrary to previous assumptions that ceramides and other sphingolipids found in cell membrane were purely structural elements, ceramide can participate in a variety of cellular signaling: examples include regulating differentiation, proliferation, and programmed cell death (PCD) of cells. The word ceramide comes from the Latin cera (wax) and amide. Ceramide is a component of vernix caseosa, the waxy or cheese-like white substance found coating the skin of newborn human infants. Ceramide is produced in mammalian systems by desaturation of dihydroceramide by dihydroceramide desaturase 1 (DES1). This highly bioactive molecule may also be phosphorylated to form ceramide-1-phosphate. Folks, cancer is caused by normal cells DNA becoming corrupt and causing the cell not to undergo Normal Apoptosis (Programmed Cell Death). Ceramide lipids play a major role in the process of Apoptosis through being a cells instrument of signal propagation embedded in the cells membrane. If a person is deficient then they are likely to gain malignant cancerous tumors. Research says: That people with atopic conditions, including eczema, have an altered risk of malignancy. In a study by Department of Paediatric Dermatology, St Johns Institute of Dermatology, Guys and St Thomas Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Kings College, London, UK, who have studied 34,263 people and found that the results for people with eczema were stratified by age, people aged between 20 and 39 years appeared to have a 56% increase in risk in relation to any cancer [SIR = 1•56 (1•13-2•09)]. Looking at individual cancer types in patients with eczema, only the risk of brain cancer was significantly raised [SIR = 2•52 (1•15-4•79)]. The affected skin of atopic individuals is deficient in natural moisturizing factors (derived from deiminated filaggrin peptides filaggrin) or ceramides (a family of lipid molecules, composed of sphingosine and a fatty acid, found in high concentrations within the cell membrane of cells in the stratum corneum). Dihydroceramide desaturase is the enzyme involved in the conversion of dihydroceramide into ceramide by inserting the 4,5-trans-double bond to the sphingolipid backbone of dihydroceramide. DDase require the O2 and the NAD(P)H as cofactor. (Note: there could be also a deficiency of the Dihydroceramide desaturase enzyme in cancer patients) The link: The link is my son ZiRon Thomas who was diagnosed with Aptopic Eczema when he was a toddler and then a DIPG Brain Tumor at the age of 3 years old. His body has a deficiency of Ceramides due to the over expression of ASHA1 gene that produces too much Acid Ceramidase when over expressed. Additionally, it could be that he is deficient in Dihydroceramide desaturase enzymes. The solution: Ceramide supplementation to a level that exceeds the Acid Ceramidase! How: Cannaboids enables the body to generate surplus Ceramides, thus consumption of CBD at a level that enables the body to generate Ceramides. This will alleviate the cancer through natural Apoptosis processes. Observation: My son’s eczema has disappeared after 3 weeks of being on radiation & chemo. I am not sure of why but this is stark observation that leads me to believe that there is a link. I think that this observation could aide in the eradication of Prostate, Head & Neck, Breast, Brain and other cancers that arise from Ceramide deficiencies. Eddie Thomas: Because the hospital would invoke child protective services to take our child if we didnt treat him with what the doctor recommends. ... ------------------------------------ Photo: ZiRon Thomas via Eddie Thomas
