The Marable Memorial Church Family had a phenomenal day of worship and praise on Sunday. Rev. Dr. McKenith began by blessing us with a Word from God - taken from Luke 2:1-14 (Focus Text - Luke 2:7); Sermon Title - Make Room For Jesus. We congratulated and honored a few of our amazing members for their outstanding accomplishments! WE PROUD OF YOU! Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Phi Chi Chapter established a scholarship honoring Bro. Earl J. Willie and Bro. John Black, Jr. for 57 years of continuous service to the 102 years old fraternity. The scholarship was announced on Saturday, November 15 as the Omegas celebrated their Founders Day! Lil Mr. Malachi Watts was awarded the Most Valuable Player recognition for his superb accomplishments as a player for the Demon Deacons football team of the Cabarrus County Boys and Girls Club. Way to go, Malachi! Ms. Adrienne Massey is to be commended for her completion of studies and graduating on Friday, November 15 from Everest University -South Campus in Orlando, FL with an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice.
