The Marriage and Banquet Bridegroom>>>The Christ Bride>>>>>>>The Church At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish and five were wise. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut. Later the others also came. Lord, Lord, they said, open the door for us! But he replied, Truly I tell you, I don’t know you. (Matthew 25:1,2 & 10-12) The light of a lamp will never shine in you again. The voice of bridegroom and bride will never be heard in you again. (Revelation 18:23) I will banish from them the sounds of joy and gladness, the voices of bride and bridegroom, the sound of millstones and the light of the lamp. (Jeremiah 25:10) As a young man marries a young woman, so will your Builder marry you; as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so will your God rejoice over you. (Isaiah 62:5) Blessed is the one who will eat at the feast in the kingdom of God. (Luke 14:15) This is a profound mystery--but I am talking about Christ and the church. (Ephesians 5:32)
