The Martin County Sheriffs Director of Emergency Management continues to monitor the seasons first tropical depression. A Tropical Storm Watch is in effect from Ft. Pierce north. Winds are currently sustained at 35 MPH. This system is likely to form into the seasons first tropical storm, bringing heavy downpours and windy conditions to those north of Ft. Pierce. Our area will likely see rain and wind as well. Please drive carefully. We will update this as information becomes available.
