The Martins were good citizens. Since there were no opposed candidates on either the Democratic or Republican ballots in our district (for those of you out of state, we have closed primaries; its pick a party or idependent ballot, one to a customer), we took third-party ballots. I took a Constitution Party ballot and Dainne voted Libertarian. The constitutional amendments were on all ballots so we were able to vote for them. There were only two candidates on the third-party ballots each. We voted for both on each. I didnt notice what offices they were for. Dianne remarked we should recognize someones willingness to run for office and encourage them. We discussed part of this in front of the poll workers. I dont think they were amused.
