The Medical Center where I am doing my externship is extremely busy. The office manager, who is flat faced, stoic, and to the point. and uses only the words necessary to communicate, walks into the office where I am working, closes the door, and says he wants to have a word with me. I gulped and immediately thought the worst. He tells me that the owner if the Med. Center and himself wanted me to know that they are beyond impressed with me, and that I am perhaps the best extern they have encountered. He bestowed several other compliments and told me to keep up the good work. As he began to close the door behind himself, he paused to let me know that a position is open........
