The Mental Health Commission of Canada challenged all 308 Members of Parliament to hold discussions, in their communities, about suicide prevention. This morning I listened to service providers and community stakeholders who discussed the challenges they face in providing optimum service to all areas of our community. The service providers in our region are passionate advocates who work collectively, to stretch resources and ensure their clients needs are met. I would like to thank everyone who took the time to attend and participate in todays discussion. You have educated me, informed me and motivated me to ensure your message is taken back to the Mental Health Commission of Canada and the House of Commons. Together we can make a difference.
