The Met Office says high winds and heavy rain could hit Hull and the East Riding on Tuesday as ex-Hurricane Gonzalo reaches the UK. It has issued a yellow weather warning. Forecasters are expecting the worst of the weather during the morning rush hour but believe disruption is likely to be minimal. Hull-based UK Weather Forecast says: Wind speeds will peak around the morning rush hour with gusts of 40-45mph widely, perhaps reaching 50mph for a time.
