The Minister for Security should wake up from deep slumber and smell the coffee! The plot on terrorism and insecurity is much wider than we have been thinking! If a judge can award that terrorist Makaburi with close to 1m, that terrorist who last Sunday applauded the killing of innocent Christians in a Church! What it means is that this lunatic is being given funds to fuel his criminal networks!! Such a Judge (Maureen Odera) should also be investigated for possible links with terror alongside all those coast leaders who have come out opposing the shoot to kill order!! In times of crisis, we cannot afford to pull in different directions, especially before the bullet has been removed from the brain of that innocent child, awaiting brain surgery! In matters of eradicating terror gangs, we can always borrow a leaf from the late Minister Michuki, who told parents of Mungiki adherents that if they dont stop their kids from activities of this illegal movement, they would be hearing of funerals here and there! And true to his words, Mungiki was uprooted from most of Central KENYA to an extent that no young person would like to be associated with this movement anymore due to the deadly consequences! Previously, in every market, there were daily military parades of Mungiki in broad daylight!! The same approach needs to be taken in Mombasa and other Al Shabaab infested counties! An eye for an eye is very effective policy! We should learn from the State of Israel how to combat terrorism and radicalism!! We should teach our youth that crime does not pay and that those who kill by the sword, will die by the sword!!
