The Ministry of Health has stressed the need for the appointment of Saudi nationals to work at its health centers across the Kingdom but the low number of qualified Saudis is coming in the way. The ministry needs to balance the expansion of its health institutions with the number of medical graduates emerging from its universities to fulfill the employment needs of the health sector. There is also need for qualified Saudis in a number of health projects in regions across the Kingdom as the ministry works to include all areas in its scope to provide health services to all citizens. The Ministry of Health has recently announced the availability of 15,314 jobs in the self-employment programs of medical specialties across the Kingdom. Majid Basha, adviser to the minister of health and director general of the transformation department, said that job vacancies have arisen within the framework of the ministry’s efforts to attract skilled and competent workers to join its professional teams. Basha said that the jobs are available for men and women and that both can apply through the MoH website. The ministry has also launched 46 projects to improve the performance of health professionals in different health facilities. A key project is to establish a panel to review the certificates of doctors to ensure that they practice only their specialty. Other projects include establishing an electronic critical error tracking program in hospitals to track errors in hospitals and convey them immediately to ministry officials through an e-system. The system will also detect discrepancies and suggest solutions to prevent their recurrence. إعلان -00:01Whats this? inRead™ invented by Teads.tv Another program is aimed at monitoring the productivity of medical staff.
