The Miracle League of Blair County opened up the 2014 season today. Off-Duty members from Local 299 took reserve L-352 out to the field to help kickoff the new season. We handed out helmets and stickers to the children along with taking the field with the some of the Altoona Curve players. We had the honor of playing beside these great kids who enjoyed every minute of the game and in the end everyone was a winner. Last year we raised over $5,000 with our annual boot drive for the Miracle League, and we will be having another one this year with a date to be announced in the near future. We would like to thank the Miracle League of Blair County for having us, and we look forward to many more fun filled weekends at the Miracle League field.
