The Miraculous Birth of the Prophets (Servants) of Allah (Compiled By Parveez Khan) The miraculous birth of the Prophets: 1] Adam [PBUH] 2] Eve (Adam’s wife) [PBUH] 3] John the Baptist [PBUH] 4] Jesus [PBUH] which obviously a Miracle created by God as a sign, so that all the people may believe in the power of Allah and in the oneness of Allah, worshipping the Creator alone without associating anyone as His Partners. Worship the Creator not His Creatures. La ilaha ilAllah. There is no God but Allah, the One. Nothing can be associated with Him in His Divinity. Say: He is Allah, the One and Only; Allah, the Eternal, Absolute; He begetteth not, nor is He begotten; And there is none like unto Him. (Al-Quran Ch:112 V:1-4) The birth of Adam was the greatest miracle, as he was born without a father or mother. The birth of Eve too was a greater miracle than the birth of Jesus, in as much as she was born without a mother. The Quran says: Surely the similarity of Jesus with God is like the similarity of Adam. -He created him from dust, and then said to him: Be! and he was. (Al-Quran Ch:3 V:59). “The Messiah son of Mary was only a messenger (like other) messengers that had passed away before him. And his mother was a strong believer. They both used to eat food. Look how We make the proofs clear to them, then look how they (disbelievers) turn away.” (Al-Qur’an Ch:5 V:75) “He (Jesus) was only a servant whom We have favored, and We made him an example to the Children of Israel.” (Al-Qur’an Ch:43 V:59) “O people of the Scripture, do not go to extremes in your religion, and do not say about God except the truth. The Messiah Jesus, son of Mary, is only a messenger from God and a word from Him (“Be” and it is), which He sent to Mary, and a soul from Him. So, believe in God and His messengers, and do not say, “Three.” Stop, it is better for you. Indeed, God is one; exalted is He above having a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And God is sufficient as a Determiner of all affairs. Never would the Messiah look down upon being a worshipper of God, nor would the angels who are close (to God). And whoever looks down upon the worship of God and is arrogant, then He will gather them to Himself all together.” (Al-Qur’an Ch:4 V:171-172) “This is Jesus, the son of Mary. And this is the statement of truth, which they doubt. It is not possible for God to take a son. Far is He above this! When He decides something, He just says to it, “Be,” and it is. (Jesus said), ‘And indeed God is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is a straight path.’ But the sects disagreed (over the straight path), so woe to the disbelievers from meeting a horrible Day.” (Al-Qur’an Ch:19 V:34-37) “And when Jesus came with clear proofs, he said, ‘I have come to you with prophethood, and to make clear to you some of what you disagree about, so fear God and obey me. Indeed, God is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. This is a straight path.’ But the groups disagreed among themselves (about the message of Jesus), so woe to those who disbelieved from the punishment of a painful Day.” (Al-Qur’an Ch:43 V:63-65) “And (remember) when Jesus, son of Mary, said, “O Children of Israel, I am the messenger of God to you confirming the Torah that came before me, and bringing good news of a messenger that will come after me, whose his name will be Ahmed (another name of Prophet Muhammad) But when he came to them with clear proofs, they said, “This is clear magic. (Al-Qur’an Ch:61 V:6) Say: He is God the One -God the Everlasting -no one is born from Him and He is not born from anything and there is nothing like Him. (Al-Qur’an Ch:112 V:1-4) And they say, God has chosen a son. Glory be to Himl Indeed whatever is in the heavens and the earth is His. Everything is subservient to Him, the Brioger into Being of the heavens and the earth -and when He decrees a matter, then all He says to it is Be! and it is. (Al-Qur’an Ch:2 V:116-117) God has not chosen any son, and there is not any other god as well as Him -otherwise each god would certainly have taken over what it had created, and some would have exalted themselves over others. Glory be to God above what they assert -the Knower of the Unseen and the Seen, may He be exalted far above the partners they associate with Him! (Al-Qur’an Ch:23 V:91-92). And they say, The Merciful has chosen a son.You have indeed come up with something terrible -so that the heavens are almost torn apart, and the earth split open, and the mountains scattered in pieces -that you should claim that the Merciful has a son! And it is not in the nature of things for the Merciful to choose a son -when every one in the heavens and the earth only comes to the Merciful as a slave. He certainly knows them all -and He knows their number exactly -and each of them will come to Him on the Day of Standing, alone. (Al-Quran Ch:19 V:88-95). “Surely, they have disbelieved who say, ‘God is the Messiah Jesus, son of Mary.’ But the Messiah said, ‘O Children of Israel, worship God, my Lord and your Lord. Indeed, whoever sets up partners (in worship) with God, then God has forbidden him Paradise, and the Fire will be his home. Surely, disbelievers are those who say, ‘God is the third of three.’ But there is no god (that deserves to be worshipped) except One God. And if they do not stop what they are saying, the disbelievers among them will suffer a painful punishment. Will they not repent to God and seek His forgiveness? For God is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful.” (Al-Qur’an Ch:5 V:72-74) Surely God does not forgive partners being associated with Him, but He forgives whomever He wishes anything other than that -and whoever associates partners with God has certainly gone far astray. (Al-Quran Ch:4 V:116) Say: We believe in God, and in what has been revealed to us, and in what was revealed to Abraham and to Ishmael and to Isaac and to Jacob and to the Tribes (of Israel), and in what was given to Moses and Jesus and the Prophets from their Lord -we make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we have submitted. And as for whoever desires a life transaction other than Islam, it will not be accepted from him, and in the next life he will be among the losers. (Al-Quran Ch: 3 V:84-85). “Say, ‘We believe in God and what has been revealed to us and what has been revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and to the prophet-descendants (of Jacob), and what has been given to Moses and Jesus, and what has been given to the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and we are Muslims (in submission) to Him.” (Al-Qur’an Ch:2 V:136) Say (O Muhammad SAW): O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians): Come to a word that is just between us and you, that we worship none but Allah, and that we associate no partners with Him, and that none of us shall take others as lords besides Allah. Then, if they turn away, say: Bear witness that we are Muslims.” (Al-Qur’an Ch:3 V:64)
