The Monsoon has covered the entire country almost a month in advance. This was disclosed by Director Met Department BP Yadav. He said, the South-West Monsoon arrived in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and the national capital Delhi yesterday, almost a fortnight ahead of its due date. The Monsoon usually covers the entire country by July 15th. In Uttarakhand, seven people were killed in rain-related incidents in Rudraprayag, Dehradun and Pithoragarh yesterday. Our correspondent reports that Chardham and Hemkund Yatras have been stopped following landslides. The inclement weather has affected normal life in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. Hindustan-Tibbe t National Highway and several other interior roads have been blocked due to landslides. Our correspondent reports that fruit crops have been damaged due to rain and snowfall. Heavy rain in Delhi last evening, led to waterlogging in many areas, including the Indira Gandhi International Airport. In Maharashtra, Mumbai and the adjoining Thane district were also lashed by heavy rain causing water-logging and hitting suburban train services
