The Moo family is experiencing deep sadness today, learning that an extremely beloved and our longest standing regular, Jack Gallon, passed away yesterday. We are so thankful to have had him in our family since day one, in 2008. His sincerity and loving hugs got us through so many tough times in the beginning of Moo, when we were focusing on survival day in and day out. This guitar-wielding conversationalist of a man kept our counter area lively, always concerned with our well being, asking, “what’s new at the circus?” He helped to keep our Dos XX kegs freshly rotated and was always a source of kind, sassy and considerate sunshine strutting through our front door. No matter how hectic things may have been at that time, we would, in comfortable routine, shout out from across the busy room, “Hey, Jack!” and, like clockwork, he would salute, find his way to his favorite seat at the bar for another cold beer and friendly banter. Our deepest love goes to Cindy and his children. R.I.P Jack Your presence will be sorely missed. xo
