**** The Muslim Family - A Fortress of Islam***** *****Week 2 - Parents and Children***** Salam alaikum I pray you are well and enjoying the good pleasure of Allah swt. Allah swt says in his glorious book Oh you who believe, save yourselves and your families from a fire whose fuel is men and stones. As Muslims living in the west there are many challenges we face; western culture along with its effects have resulted in many problems in society which have unfortunately affected the Muslims also. Our first seminar looked at the issue of marriage and how Islam leads to tranquillity in marital life. Our next seminar will look at the relationship between parents and children and how Islam should govern this. The seminar will be delivered by Moinul Abu Hamza. Moinul Abu Hamza is a regular contributor and editor of Siyasahpress & founding member of the Quran Initiative. He is an active Dawa carrier, writer and Khateeb in London and the founder of iHalaqa Channel, he began his studies in the UK and continued his studies in Arabic, Tafseer and sharh of hadeeth and Tajweed in Egypt. He has studied Qiraaat in Al-Azhar and Mahad Masarawy and attained accreditation from Sheikh Masarawy Al-Azhari, and is currently teaching Qira’ah in Hafs and Assem. He is currently completing his Alimiyyiah qualification with Sheikh Akram Nadwi in Mahhad As-Salaam. This seminar will take place on Saturday 25th October at 2pm @ St. James Centre, Derby.
