The Mustard Seed and the Overcoming Kingdom -1 Let us now turn our attention to two Parables which pretty much seal the deal regarding our understanding of the Kingdom. The two are stacked side by side because they convey the same meaning but through different angles: they deal with the reality that though planted in the midst of so much opposing environment, The True Kingdom is an overcoming one! A. The Parable of the Mustard Seed deals with the reality that the Kingdom of Yahweh will supersede all other kingdoms and be the ultimate shelter of all humanity. Matthew 13:31-32 King James Version (KJV) 31 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: 32 Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof. Commentary: Let the Messiah lead us on to unlock a mystery of the Kingdom: the reality that since its planting on earth, it is ordained to overcome all kingdoms of preceding humans kingdoms and will ultimately offer shelter to all creation who embrace it! The Mustard seed used to illustrate the beginning of the Kingdom is so tiny that you cannot see it from a few feet away, yet becomes a mighty Oak when matured! Though the beginning of the Kingdom was small (with the conception of Yeshua in the womb of Mary and subsequent birth), it has been ordained to be the ONLY one to stand at the end of time! Please read the dialogue between Angel Gabriel to Mary and Joseph in these scriptures: Luke 1:26-37 and Matthew 1:18-24. to be continued. Please get all of it!
