The NCNMLG elections are coming soon. If you are interested in serving in any of the positions listed below please complete the attached form and send to me by January 30, 2015. Open Position: Vice President/ President Elect Duties of the Vice President/President-Elect shall be to plan and conduct programs for the membership. Term of service 3 years - one year as vice president, one year as president, and one year as past president. Secretary Duties of the Secretary shall be to prepare and distribute minutes of all meetings prior to the next meeting, to be responsible for incoming and outgoing correspondence. Term of service 1 year. Nominating Committee ( 2 slots - Chair, Member) Duties of the Bylaws/Nominating/Election Committee shall be to prepare a slate of candidates for all Chapter elections, to distribute and tabulate ballots of election, and to report the results of elections to the President. Term of service 1 year. Candidate to the MLA Nominating Committee Duties of the Candidate to the MLA Nominating Committee shall be if elected by the MLA general membership, to participate in the selection of nominees for office in MLA. Term of service 1 year.
