The NQA would like to assure students that all ICM qualifications obtained by 31 December 2014 will be recognised in Namibia. Students are however adviced not to enroll for any new ICM programmes after 31 December 2014, in Namibia or anywhere else in the world as such programmes will not be evaluated by the NQA. This is due to the fact that ICM has indicated their intention to withdraw from Namibia and to operate in an unregulated environment. The NQA, as per its mandate under the Regulations to the Evaluation of Qualifications (Government Notice 182, 2007) only evaluates and recognises foreign qualifications if these are approved by a recognised quality assurance body in the country of origin.
