The NYPD officers in our neighborhood called Taylor McKenna yesterday when they came across an abandoned pitbull. Although they are required to bring the dogs they find directly to Animal Care & Control, NYPD police do everything they can to help dogs they think are safers, which includes calling people like us. We named him Lenny Bruce and currently only has a few days with his current fosters until we may have to inevitably bring him to the shelter. Thats the last thing we want to do due to his sweet nature so if anyone can help to get him adopted/fostered, we would really appreciate it!
