The NZ experience. I went on a holiday to a nearby land, Arriving in Auckland the trip was unplanned. We explored the new city until Natalie came, Bringing with her a guy who couldnt choose a name. He said to call him Sean or Wayne But we all settled, with calling him shwayne. A few more drinks, and we called it a night, Wanting to start our adventure off right. First stop was Raglan, at Shwaynes parents place, Where they skinned a lamb as I hid my face. Nat and Jacob learned how to hunt While again I hid, myself in the front. Black water rafting, abseiling and rocking climbing was ace, With glow worms lighting up the underground space. Lake taupo was our next desitnation, The beautiful blue lake sparked our fascination. McDonalds was served in a real old plane, Making every other seem quite lame. With the ski fields closed we went for a drive, Through national parks where the mountains came alive. Rotorua was stinky, but the luge was fun, Taking its toll on the bodies of some. Jet boating over rapids made shwayne all wet, But our expectations just werent quite met. A night at the rugby with a loss to the blues, Nat kicked out of the club & shwayne doing taxi spews. Still drunk yet slightly hungover, we got on our flight, Arriving in Christchurch, our camper was a sight. The beautiful lake Tekapo started our south island trip, With picturesque scenery and an icy cold dip. Then it was on to the famous Queenstown, Where vodka and double browns knocked all our walls down. My first day on the snow had me on my arse & my face I was lucky to not end up, in a neck brace. A night with Thomas and Ceeney gave us tips on the town, And the next day involved a lot less falling down. Teaching Jacob to tell the time by stars at night, Milford sounds beauty explained its status as a world herritage sight. Back to Queenstown to do the bungy nevice, As Australasias highest we fell 134m in to a crevice. Ferg burger & winnies pizza were quite the treat, But the pies at Fergbakery just cant be beat. Shwaynes tour guide skills were proven all wrong, With $300 guided fox glacier walk, 6km long. The 1km cold trek to the glacier was more than worth it, The sight was spectacular, and it didnt cost a bit. Nelson was next, where wine town begun, And Shwaynes aunt and uncle provided us a night full of fun. It was in Blenheim we did our Marlborough wine tour, Then after too much wine, we tasted some beer that was pure. After all the games of kings&assholes and I spy Nothing was harder, than saying goodbye As we returned to Christchurch to farewell Nat and Shwayne, Jacob and I set off on an adventure again. We stayed at Methvhen then off to Mount Hutt Where for my third day on the slopes I was barely on my butt. Back up north the Bay of Islands was a sight Then it was back to Auckland for our very last night. Now as I farewell this beautiful land, I Think an annual trip will have to become planned. ✌️
