The National Day Parade is happening today! And our airmen and women are doing their final preparations for it! Besides our marching contingents during the parade, do watch out for our SPYDER Ground-Based Air Defence System making its NDP debut as well! If you are going down to the parade, cheer on our airmen and women and wave your flags at them as they march past in front of you! But first, we have a special shout-out from our Parade and Ceremony Committee Chairman, COL Joseph Tan! The RSAF was involved in the preparation for NDP 14 since July 2013 (Parade and Ceremony segment as well as for the Air Participation segment) and today will be the day when well deliver the most memorable and likely the last NDP on the Float@Marina. Do remember to tune in at 5.40pm for the live-broadcast. On behalf of NDP 14 Organising Committee, a BIG thank you to everyone who have worked hard and burnt many weekends to celebrate our love for SINGAPORE at the NDP. I would also like to applaud our people who are on duty (including DAG NSmen) today to keep our skies safe whilst the rest of the nation celebrates. Wishing everyone a very Happy 49th National Day!
