The National Guard highly values our 21-year relationship with the Republic of Slovakia through the nations pairing with the Indiana National Guard in the #NationalGuard State Partnership Program. Air Force Lt. Gen. Joseph Lengyel, my vice chief, and his wife, Sally, welcomed Mr. Martin Glváč, minister of defense, and his lovely wife, Ms. Soňa Chanečková, as well as Lt. Gen. Milan Maxim, chief of the general staff of the armed forces, and Maj. Gen. Martin Umbarger, adjutant general of Indiana, at his residence this evening. We sustain robust, enduring partnerships.
