The National Spring Football League (NSFL) is designed to be a professional developmental league for American Football playing its schedule from March to July. The NSFL will be kicking off with exhibition games in the fall of 2013 and full league play in the spring of 2014. The NSFL is dedicated to the growth and development of its players, coaches and staff on and off the field while providing “family friendly” entertainment to all of its fans. With 12 teams spanning coast-to-coast, the NSFL will provide a national footprint. The NSFL is the only professional football league to offer two Non-Profit sister corporations and will foster the league’s partnership in its respective communities. The NSFL’s business model will maintain a cooperative relationship with the NFL. Doing so will provide the players, coaches and staff with a platform to display their talents and a social market to reach professional football scouting networks. The NSFL will provide a safe and entertaining environment for families through the FanZone, hospitality, and pregame, halftime and postgame programming. All NSFL teams will be owned and operated by the League with each team organized to coordinate and further League objectives. Each team’s front office will manage their respective rosters and handle the day-to-day operations. The ownership model allows each team to maintain its separate existence while maintaining the continuity of the League.
