The National Weather Service says South Carolina is being put under a winter storm watch from Tuesday morning into Wednesday. Artic air will move in, bringing in sleet and possible snow. A watch is not a warning. The conditions can create dangerous driving conditions as well as damage to trees and power lines. The counties to be affected: Aiken Bamberg Barnwell Calhoun Chesterfield Clarendon Edgefield Kershaw Lee Lexington McCormick Orangeburg Richland Saluda Sumter
