The Nazis are one of the vilest factions in history, but youve got to hand it to them - when it came to symbolism and design and propaganda, they knew what they were doing. Concentration camp prisoners wore easy-to-remember badges for more efficient segregation. Hitler had a typeface preference. Dont get me wrong, I dont in any way condone or support their actions during the war. Im not a Brown-skinned Nazi sympathizer. I just reeaally love History. I love WW2 things, and find it incredibly interesting that symbolism and design this effective could come from such a bad place and time in history. Another interesting thing to note is that Totalitarian regimes almost always have strong visual branding. Even with architecture!
