The Neighborhood Center wants to express its congratulations to the neighborhoods of the North Broadway area of Council Bluffs! We are pleased to have been a partner in a multi-partner effort to restore the original tree canopy along the nearly three-mile-long corridor that is North Broadway! We specifically want to thank North Broadway Neighborhood Association (and their Vice President, John Marshall), Locust Lodge Neighborhood Association (and their President, Dennis Kirlin), the City of Council Bluffs (Mayor Matt Walsh and Parks Director Larry Foster), John Nelson (on behalf of his dear, late mother, Ruth Nelson), Live Well Council Bluffs CURB grant program (and its director, Sandy Hull), and Pottawattamie County Community Foundation (and its now-former director, Dawn Hovey). The power of grassroots-driven, positive change, with the utilization of many, diverse partners, both volunteer and pecuniary. Be proud Council Bluffs! #councilbluffsstrong #peoplepower
