The New Covenant is present tense. Jesus is present tense. He is - TopicsExpress

The New Covenant is present tense. Jesus is present tense. He is alive and active in us. He manifests Himself through us as we pray for others and read or declare the Word. What we read in the Bible - especially with regard to the New Testament - is in real time. When we pray we are not really praying TO Jesus, we are applying Jesus to the situation. When we read the Bible, we are reading Jesus. We come out of it transformed in His image. This is how we become partakers of the divine nature. ~Anne Schickowski
