The New Hanover County Schools (NHCS) All-County Middle School and High School Choral Festival concert will be presented on Saturday, October 18, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. The concert will be held at the Minnie Evans Arts Center on Halyburton Memorial Parkway. The most outstanding singers from NHCS’ middle and high schools will perform. Guest choral clinician, Mrs. Sandra Errante, conductor of the Girls’ Choir of Wilmington and member of the faculty at the Wilmington Academy of Arts and Sciences, will conduct the Middle School All-County Chorus concert. Her accompanist will be Dr. Steven Errante, Professor of Music from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and Conductor of the Wilmington Symphony Orchestra. The High School All-County Chorus will be conducted by guest choral clinician, Dr. Welborn Young. Dr. Young is Director of Choral Activities and Associate Professor of Music at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Elizabeth Oldham will accompany. The public is cordially invited to attend this evening of choral music. There is no admission fee.
