They quote polls they pay for and pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to launch efforts to frighten us. An increase in our states minimum wage will help low-income workers pay their bills, feed their families and be a boost to our economy. And just as important, businesses throughout the state will benefit from additional consumer spending. The New Jersey Federation of Democratic Women proudly supports Ballot Question #2 and urges working families throughout New Jersey to vote on November 5th to raise the minimum wage and include an annual cost-of-living adjustment to help the many thousands and thousands of New Jersey workers who are struggling to get by. #
