The New York Times posted a lot of drivel on Friday--a compilation of guest opinions on the campaign to ban horse-drawn carriages. I still must read it. I already noticed an opinion by someone representing the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP). Please understand that the AAEP proudly supports horse slaughter, and every opinion we have ever seen from this organization is misguided, driven by a pro-slaughter agenda. The American Veterinary Medical Association also supports horse slaughter. A newer veterinary organization speaks out against this blatant violation of the Veterinarians Oath, which states that veterinarians will seek to prevent and relieve animal suffering. Please exercise critical thinking with regard to whatever you are reading on these matters. Our opponents are shameless and have no problem telling lies to further their agendas.
