The NewsMail apologises for the use of an incorrect image on Wednesday’s front page. The background picture used was a coastal scene from Elliott Heads, not Burnett Heads. Residents located behind the cabins placed in the Holiday Park at Burnett Heads would not have a view like the one displayed. The NewsMail apologises for any confusion this may have caused. The error was made in the editorial production process. However, we would also like to make it clear that rumours circulating on social media that the picture mix-up was deliberate, are false. It was an unfortunate error, and was never intended to deceive readers.
