The Niagara Open Golf Tournament will be held June 9 at the Niagara Frontier Country Club in Youngstown. $175 per person includes lunch, buffet dinner, cocktails, green fees/cart for a four person scramble format. Spots are filling fast for this annual tournament offering a great afternoon of golf on one of Western New York’s finest courses. Joining the tournament this year are Buffalo Sabres’ alum Andrew Peters and veteran Buffalo broadcaster, Kevin Sylvester. Sylvester is the host of “Sabres Hockey Hotline,” a year round program that airs on WGR-AM in Buffalo along with Peters. Peters also appears on WGRZ-TV, Channel 2 on Your Side, “Sports Extra.” Adam Benigni, WGRZ-TV, 2 On your Side’s sports director will be returning this year for golf as well as emcee of the short dinner program. Adam will update us on the sports news of the day and answer a few questions during the program.
