The Nigerian church has lost its primary role of raising disciples to raising millionaires without conscience. The church is largely divided along ethnic and denominational lines. We are busy building cathedrals without raising men who can defend the Faith in the days of trouble. What has the Southern Church done in defence of the persecuted Christians in the North? We feel so removed and safe from the trouble in the North because we are busy praying for breakthrough while our brothers and sisters are hacked and burnt to death everyday. Christians must unite and take a stand not for religious, sectional reasons but to protect innocent citizens.
